One day this place won't be here any more.

Where's the smart money on how it's all going to go down?

It could conceivably be killed off if net neutrality is ever removed.

I guess Neil will get bored, or married or something.
That, or all electricity on Earth will cease due to a malfunctioning satellite and we'll regress to feudal time, like in that old comic strip that
used to be in The Eagle.

When Jelly goes mental and kills Neil. Could happen tomorrow, could happen in eleven years and five days time.

I think Cook'd And Bomb'd will die when Neil dies.

For further information PM me. Not you Neil, I want it to be a surprise.

A statement from my attorney
My client would like to make it clear that the above statement was purely intended as a humourous offering for a humourous thread on "The Cooked And The Bombed.org". In no way does chocky909 intend or threaten to intend to murder or otherwise harm Neil or any other Neil. He would also like to apologise for any misunderstanding, unpleasantness and unforeseen bedwetting that may have been caused by this incident.

How lamentable the day will be,
when 'Page Not Found' is the sight we see,
when onto CaB we attempt to log,
our eyes met with a grey 404 fog.

It'd suck balls with a vengeance. I actually like you cunts.

Call me an optimist but I don't think this place will ever die. Anyway I'm more interested to see how this place evolves. I wonder what it'll be like here in fifty years time when people just connect their arses to the internet and waken up inside a virtual world not too dissimilar to the Matrix, though perhaps with less kung-fu and much more tits. I think Cook'd and Bomb'd will eventually end up being a three dimensional interactive virtual forum. A kind of cross between the Hollo deck on Star Trek and United Nations on a rainy day -  lots of dreary arguing in some sections yet the ability to wonder off and indulge any fantasy you wish whilst at the same time debate the merits of the latest Ricky Gervais comedy series.

So...a bit like talking to people in real life then?

Sod that for a laugh.  If I wanted to 'talk' to 'people' then I'd just turn up to the London Meets. It's the anonymous expression of ideas through the increasingly antiquated system of typing that gives places like this their charm.
