"looks like a good one for the toilet."

And there's the quote for the front cover.

jobotic's post about wasps in the schadenfrade thread reminded me of this:

Utter Shit

Love the repeated use of 'stang' haha.

Dr Magus

Anyone have the It's A Knockout strip with Stuart Hall pissing himself while a couple are in a garden centre or summat like dat. A bit vague I know. Can't remember which issue its from but
pretty sure the ink was green if that helps.

weirdbeard

Looks as though they've stopped selling those archive CDROMs so here's the first 175 editions to download

http://couchtripper.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?t=5144

Has anyone ever managed a comprehensive issue guide (how many Roger Mellie's and in what issue etc.)?

Dr Magus

Come to think of it that It's A Knockout strip may not have made an annual. Can't remember.

Blumf

Just got two Viz annuals, The Camel's Toe (2014, 202-211) and The Dutch Oven (2015, 212-221), together from WH Smiths for 4.99.

One for you Norbert Colons out there.

Way back in this thread there is a link to a Drunken Bakers collection, which I downloaded at the time and have now lost.

Does anyone please still have it and has it been added to since 2014.

I remember that maybe some of the pages were of different qualities?
Was it made by dissecting Viz torrents?

Many thanks and personally I am loving the Twin Peaks bandwagon cash in in the new issue.

What a wonderful person you are.

Mega thanks from me.
I wonder what those Issue Unknown ones are?

NoSleep

I recall seeing some Drunken Bakers strips at an art exhibition (not  comics one as I remember) a few years back. Maybe they're related to that.

banana

They were used by Mark Leckey at The Tate, maybe that's what you saw?

As far as I know he didn't initially ask them for permission...

NoSleep

It was likely the Tate and I remember they were being shown via a TV screen or a monitor so it could well be that they were just scanned/stolen/sampled.

the science eel

Bought the latest Viz today and think it was the most consistently funny I've read in a long time. Around six big belly-laughs and around 18 chuckles. Good going.

The Biffa thread at the end was a beaut. I love the way they can get so much mileage out of a family beating each other up.

iamcoop

The latest issue has some amazing stuff in it.

There's an excellent three page spread about the NHS. There's a two page article entitled National Horror Story which is funny enough, but it was the paragraph that the correspondent was named as Mahatma Macaroon that made me laugh so hard on the bus home that lots of people stared at me. It's so fucking gloriously stupid yet incisive.

Loved these two from the 20 Things You Didn't Know About Twin Peaks article

Sambob

I apologise if this has been posted already, except I don't really because it's the greatest thing ever.

EDIT: Blimey, that came out a bit big didn't it. I don't know how to fix it. Cheers.

Use
/\ I had to remove this space otherwise, the HTML is looking for a URL

If the image is not clickable, copy the URL http://viz.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/048_viz206_antswithdec.jpg

Or use the "code" option (the "#" icon) (and you added a space).

The original width of the image is 2900, so I exactly halved that to make the image look cleaner at its new size.
