I really love the odd writing style on Clickhole. It's fantastic.

Looks like they've let the "What is your knowledge of an egg?" writer loose on a Clickventure...with astounding results: http://www.clickhole.com/clickventure/youre-adam-first-man-can-you-eat-right-fruit-and-o-3957

The 7 Worst Reviews Of My Private Carousel Business That I Have To Admit Make Some Pretty Good Points

This is great. Quite impressive the site hasn't gotten entirely stale and repetitive, given the nature of the stuff it's taking the piss out of.

I find with these satirical websites they go through periods where the quality of the material is either consistently good or bad. The Onion is almost always shit these days and Clickhole hasn't really made me laugh for a while now despite going through a phase where it was doing so almost daily. The Daily Mash seems to have upped its game recently and is producing consistently really funny material. I find they don't develop their ideas enough, certainly no where near the level The Onion used to do when it was at its best.

I'd like to know how the writing teams work for all these sites. The problems with the Onion's writing teams are well documented and it was very obvious in the quality of the articles when certain writers left. I pay so little attention to it these days though.

Ultimately it depends on what news is available. In the UK we have the rows over Brexit and Corbyn, which bring ludicrous people to the fore.

Whats happening in the news definitely makes some difference. I always used to think The Onion struggled somewhat when George Bush was in power through the 00's. When a politician is already laughable then its harder to make jokes about them. It appears even more the case now with Trump. He's doing a far better job making himself look ridiculous than any comedy writer ever could.

The Onion had a better time with the Obama administration. All their stuff about Joe Biden used to make me laugh a lot.

I think these new Witnessing History videos (assuming it is actually a series) are going to be pure gold if this JFK one is anything to go by: http://www.clickhole.com/video/these-people-were-there-when-kennedy-was-shot-and--5090

Took Clickhole's 'How Many Hayao Miyazaki Films Have You Seen?' quiz and got this result:

QuoteWow! You've seen a handful of works by an undisputed virtuoso of weighty whimsy. Big fuck! Who cares?

I feel like this deserves mentioning as one of their best for anyone who missed it http://www.clickhole.com/article/5-times-animatronic-fox-splash-mountain-addressed--4872

God, I just keep going back to that one. 'Call me, Mrs Dad' and ' Your dad and I are going to be each other's wives' - why are these things so fucking funny to me?

Bizarro Mark Bosnich

I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure this guy is the one who wrote the animatronic fox article (and a lot of the best ones).

An epic journey.

"You're excited for your dad to die because you're tired of sharing a towel with him. But before he passes, you'd like to help him achieve two of his lifelong dreams: going to the Super Bowl and losing his virginity. You'd rather not commit more than a couple of hours to this, so you're hoping to kill two birds with one stone and have him go to the Super Bowl and lose his virginity at the same time."
