Sort of The Beloved meets The Strawberry Alarm Clock with a hint of Duran Duran.

I'll add this - Sons Of The Stage by World Of Twist. Peaked at number 47.

I thought I could add The Paris Angels' Perfume to this and we could have had a little 'overlooked Man/dchester bands' section, maybe even a thread, but, no , it's not very good.

I could kiss you. I was trying to wrack my brains for this song the other day.

Richard X Featuring Javine - You Used To
This reworking of the Thelma Houston original was intended to be the third single from his Richard X Presents His X Factor Volume 1 compilation album (which also featured his No.1 Freak Like Me with The Sugababes, and Finest Dreams with Kelis, which ended up being the third single). Promo copies were pressed and distributed and a video had been made, but the release was delayed to be moved to the fourth single, and eventually cancelled.

Morgan - Miss Parker UKcharts No 74 in 1999.

I've not heard of Morgan (apparently he's in Muse now). That track's got quite a picopop sound to it. I like it, but I'm not sure it fits my preconceptions of chart music.

Whatever, thanks for making me listen to it and then investigate this:

Morgan - Moonlight Rhino: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXxkwhl50_o

Oh, what about this as a something that should have been a summer hit?

Morgan - Flying High (Jadell Remix): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HP9PwYHCPLU

He was the bass player in The Senseless Things.  His father is also the great Billy Nicholls.

This should have been a big hit fifty years ago.

London Social Degree 1968 - Billy Nicholls

Brilliant album (if you like sixties Brit sike, that is)

Vodka Margarine

'Liar Liar' - The Castaways   https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DDEdFxUZ01s

At least, never a hit in the UK. So why does it sound like I've known it all my life?
