Or was it an mp3 you were after?

Well fuck-a-doodle-do. I have been searching for an mp3 of that for a very long time....so thank you very much Famous Mortimer...
Happy.

Since the album version of 'Fight The Power' has the word shit edited out, any ideas where Spike Lee got the uncensored version for the opening credits of 'Do The Right Thing'?

The uncensored version is on the Do The Right Thing soundtrack - as you might expect.

Well that's that conundrum solved

Quote from: The Widow of Brid on May 12, 2009, 05:09:50 PMDoes anyone have a decent quality version of the theme music from the Richard O'Sullivan Dick Turpin? Or even the extended theme from (the otherwise shit) Dick Turpin's Greatest Adventure?

This it?

Cheers! All the ones I found online seemed to have been taped off the telly.

Thanks.  I still don't understand why it still appears in censored form on 'Fear of a Black Planet'.

If anybody can locate ANY Headbutt I would be most happy. Early 90s noise - three drummers, two bassists, ex-Bastard Kestrel. Unlikely to say the least...

I found this, a 7" single from a band with a future member of Headbutt in them. And this site has a white label of theirs for sale:

Thanks Famous Mortimer - I have all of their vinyl, plus some tapes too, plus all their spin-offs Unvoice, Bastard Kestrel, Hideous Wheel Invention etc. But for the life of me, I cannot find any Headbutt MP3s and I have spent a long time looking. I am considering handing my vinyl over to one of those 'Digitise Your Vinyl! £10 per record!" people who stick notices up in newsagent windows.

I wouldn't spend yer pennies in such a way, I've got a USB turntable and no pressing engagements. If you don't find anyone close by (chances are, you know someone with this setup already) I'll convert them for you.

Well, that is jolly kind of you Famour Mortimer!
I may take you up on that - and in fact as I think you are local I could just drop off a box (mainly 7") and you can do it in your own time, no pressure, and obviously digitise for your own pleasure.
Cheers mate.

The search function doesn't seem to be working properly yet, so I can't tell for certain that I haven't asked this before. But has anyone got the music to the Pink Panther show? The song, from the one with the live-action credits featuring the kid driving the snazzy car, with the vocals "the one and only, truly original, panther pink from head to toe?"

Famous Mortimer

JT, I live in Chesterfield, effectively inside the town centre too so it's not far from bus stops. It is the other side of town from the train station, although it's still only 10 minutes walk or so. Send me a PM when you pop round and I'll give you directions. You can also have a gander at the vinyl I'm getting rid of and you can see if you want some.

From the unofficial Adam and Joe album that was floating round here a year or so ago...the first of the two football songs (the one about domestic football). Anyone have it, please?

Morrisfan82

Was that the album Darrell and co. put together? As I remember, there was a mistake and the World Cup version of The Footy Song was included twice. I take it you're after the one from the show?

It's on Youtube, if that helps at all: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMNarDXvQYo

Famous Mortimer

The one I had definitely had the domestic footie version on it. It got lost because, for some reason, when I switched a while back from Windows to Linux, it deleted all my most-played mp3s.

I'm sure the version I had had two different versions. Pretty sure I've got both versions anyway, if no-one else has it I should be able to dig it out tonight.

The one I downloaded definitely had the World Cup version on it twice. I guess someone eventually noticed and re-uploaded it with the right one.

chand

Gah, I forgot about this. I'll try and remember tonight.

Thump.

I'm after the b-side to the Mr Blobby single, entitled 'Mr Blobby's Theme'. If anyone can supply a WAV I'd be mighty grateful. Ta.

I'll just seen this thread, so apologies for the late reply.  I have a 12" promo of "G.L.E.N.N.H.O.D.D.L.E.I.S.H.A.V.I.N.G.A.G.O.A.L. (The Footie Song)" in the house and it actually has four versions of it:

A1: Whistle & Goal Mix
A2: Original Mix
AA1: League Edition
AA2: World Cup Edition

It's a long time since I've had the record on and I'm at work so I can't describe the versions just yet.  But if any completists want the mp3s uploaded I'll see whether I can upload them somewhere.

Been searching in vain for Gorky's Zygotic Mynci - Y Bachgen Oedd Yn Dwyn Fy Prynhawn.  Anyone got a good quality mp3?

jutl

Does anyone have a decent copy of the Julian Cope Head b-side "Bagged Out Ken"?

Johnny Townmouse

I'm still trying to get MP3s of the Prolapse single Crate, tracklisting:

psychotic now
p.d.f.
screws
kilometrica banca

I have had a torrent on the go for months now but nothing doing.

Lee

No Blobby then... OK, let's try something else. Does anyone have, or know where to find, this album?

There's a single MP3 floating around:

http://www.dekedickerson.com/MP3clips/Korea2.mp3

But I'd really love to hear it in full. If there's an MP3 around, great. If anyone knows where I can get the LP...

(I'm still after the Blobby track BTW.)

Guy

Has anyone here got the acapella of Rebel Without A Pause by Public Enemy? I've got one version but the file prematurely cuts off after the second verse.

I thought it'd be quite easy to find but it's turning out to be a pain. Thanks.
