Three of the best rappers in the world together. Who won? I would say Black Thought but then I love The Roots. All three are very good.

I found myself humming 'I'm rapping, I'm rapping, I'm rap rap rapping' from Look Around You during that

Here are some highlights from the 1990 Beach Boys biopic, 'Summer Dreams'.  Yep, that's Charlie Manson alright!

One of the last classic half hearted biopics. Really bad beardage.
I love it

Well, no-one was expecting you to find it to be "lovely".

Just another John Lennon interview. In which he talks about Monty Python, Fawlty Towers and Not The Nine O'Clock News!

I have my tickets to the Yummy Fur's London gig in January, and I'm very much looking forward to it.

My band Hong Kong In The 60s have recorded a cover of the Beach Boys song "Winter Symphony" for a free Christmas mp3 EP thing, on the WIAIWYA label.  What's more, we've made a video for it using some beautiful home movie footage from the Prelinger archive:

You surely know what I am referencing?

Paranoid Android (early) - Radiohead

Early live airing of "Paranoid Android" by Radiohead.  This is one of the things I love finding on youtube, early incarnations of familiar songs that end up being reworked when they finally get recorded.

Odd to think that just a week later, the last NTNOCN of the series was going out with In My Life playing over the end credits in tribute.

I'd imagine most of you have heard this, but sod it:

Attack Attack! - Stick Stickly (Official Music Video)

Generic emo shiteness, then, at 2:46, TECHNO~! I love crabcore.

I've been enjoying watching high school renditions of Gordon Goodwin's tunes, usually performed by his 'Big Phat Band'. Some of them are great! Obviously not a patch on the real thing, but some of these kids do really well.

I like this song by the new band Loverman. Sort of like Danzig meets Nick Cave with a bit of Tindersticks.
