Simple Minds - Triumphant return or Ignored as usual?

This year Simple MInds will be following up 2002's 'Cry' with a new album.
Having seen them live at the Birmingham NEC in December and hearing reviews of other gigs from their 2003 tour I can safetly say that they've got a newly found passion about them now and have really got a good momentum going. They seem really happy to be back performing live and I personally feel that the new album is going to be their best work for years.
'Cry' was ignored because the name 'Simple MInds' is considered evil amongst most journalists and the media in general probabbly because of the whole 'Stadium Rock' phase. I just think that if the media would swallow their pride and view their recent material as say a whole new chapter rather than just having a hatred for them because whatever they did in the past that they don't agree with, I really believe that with the right promotional push the 'Minds' could be back in the big league again.
Any comments or a thread doomed to sink without a trace?
Just my thoughts anyway.
