60 is the new 40?

The people who told us 20 years ago that "40 is the new 20" are now saying "60 is the new 40". This was when your so-called 'baby boomer' generation, who defined 'youth culture' when they were young, deemed it necessary to inform us that, actually, 'youth' is a state of mind.

(You people would have been around 30 in 1976, were you still young enough to enjoy punk rock?)

If 60 is the new 40, then 80 must be the new 60 making 85 the new retirement age. Are you looking forward to this?

I'm terribly sorry but that was far too many numbers for me to concentrate.
I might have another go later.
