Not wanting to forment a dying argument, but you know that nobody can defend something like that, which is why you continually either repeat it or varnish its bandwagon. If any of us disagree you can insist it's something we can't consciously realise or are unwilling to admit to, so you win every time.

Sorry, I just can't see that what you're saying or enforcing is anything other than an attempt to get a last-gasp foothold in a dispute you feel you've lost.

Why is this still going on?

If I was in Neil's shoes I'd have found out who was in the clique, banned 'em without telling anyone, done whatever I could to make sure they couldn't have re-registered and then pretended that it never happened. I'd have been like Stalin with a hangover. This place is well due a clear-out if you ask me, and this would've been a great excuse to boot out some of the self-appointed big boys and let some fresh talent find its way into the board.
