Mmm, that'll teach me to post before listening to the damn thing more carefully.  The second half seems to come from a different show from the first.   A competition mentions a Queen LP (The Miracle, released May 22, 1989?), also a mention of Kylie Minogue's 21st birthday party (she turned 21 on May 28, 1989).

Aaah, this is the sort of details I need, thank you weirdbeard.  I would like you lot to help putting these together as it takes me forever, so yeah, notes like this are great.  Then I can see if we can put them back into actual shows once I have them all encoded.  Should be able to rocket through these from next week when my new rig arrives :-)  Did the second tape on Saturday night and had to delete it because of skips that were introduced in the encoding process.  Shouldn't be a prob on the new machine, plus 320 gb to play with, fantastic!  I'll have these all saved as wav too, so remember, any clips you want made just give me the exact timings, and if you can also spot where these tapes might fit together, same thing.
