Captain Crunch

Hello,

This year I am finally going to Ascot, get in.  Now I need a silly hat and I would appreciate any ideas or advice you crazy cats can offer.

My first choice of formal headwear would be this sort of thing -

- but that's not really a hat is it?  It may also contravene the dress code which I'll have to check before the big day.  Actually I might buy that for myself anyway just to wear around the house.

These sort are nice -

- but nyeh, I doubt I could carry that off, I fancy something with a bit more face coverage.

So any ideas, tips or stories involving hats would all be very welcome.

Thanks a lot.

I think you were right with the top hat approach. Attach a veil if you want more face cover or some strings and champagne corks would be fairly Ascotish.

Have you thought of the hijab?

Shoulders?-Stomach!

You know what hats make people look like. Come on, you know- it rhymes with hat.....

Cats. That's what hats make people look like- Cats.

Even yea attractive woman up there (the one in the black and red garb) looks slightly less attractive due to the hat, and indeed, stupid.

We should have a caption contest somewhere in this general bullshit.
