All work and no play makes me something something?

I recently got a new keyboard.  All the letters look really shiny.

My new tablet recognises my handwriting and, while old-hat to you bleeding edge types on here, is massively exciting for an old fool like me.

...go crazy?

I believe it's "all work and no play makes Neville Chamberlain a dull boy" with only each distinct letter listed.

Go on then, I'm just pointing out what you were clearly implying, aren't I?

Uncle TechTip

Well, glad that one was cleared up.

My post was a Simpsons reference.

It's very hard to tell, but the volume knob is worn to the point that it keeps falling off. It doesn't actually work, anyway.

You've got the same desk as me!!! Do you also share the crippling RSI and shoulder pain???

Actually mine was a Simpsons reference, yours was picking up on it. ;)

I think it is something like: "All work and no play makes Homer something something...Go Crazy? Don't mind if I do!"

Shoulder injury, no, but RSI yes. I think I may be getting carpal tunnel syndrome, too. I get shooting pains up my right arm like really bad writer's cramp, although that may well have been brought on by me having to do lots of writing lately in exams as well.

Whoops. Oh fuck. I only watched that one recently as well - what a cunt-wit I am these days.

Uncle TechTip

Use the most-used keys a bit less often with RSI preventer Workrave

I've got that one, too, but it's in storage at the moment, awaiting my house move next month. I may "accidentally" drop it out of the removal van and get a new one.

The desk I'm using at the moment has 2 PCs on it, with mine on the right and there's a cupboard in the way which stops me from sitting directly in front of the monitor. If I spend more than about half an hour on it, I start getting pins and needles down my right arm. That can't be good for me, can it?

ICFMP

The letters from the W and R key are completely gone, I think it could be from cleaning the keyboard as I clean it regular.

buttgammon

This fucking desk! I now have crippling neck pain as well.

It's his Location field that worries me...

I'd really like a long narrow key at the bottom of my keyboard; sadly I haven't got space.

Boo! Boo!

Pack it in you two...
