Ooh, they have several cameras, and the sound's suprisingly good for a live cast.

Note to audience: You cannot sing as well as Thom Yorke so please don't try to do so.  Also, doing it in unison makes it worse.  When I sing along to Radiohead I do it in my own home or on the local allotment.  You, however, are in a public space and you are ruining it for other people, so stop what you are doing.

No, it's just everything else is too loud. I've compensated for the relative quietness by turning the volume up.

I can't see it, my computer is shit and stupid!

Sexton Brackets Drugbust

This is fucking great. Thought we were stuck with that 1st camera for a moment.

Aye, I'm impressed with the venue change and all how good the webcast is.

15 Step = fucking awesome live.

chocky909

Great sound quality. I hope they play the whole album.. so far so good.

Pseudopath

Fuck me, they're an awesome live band. Other than Thom's unusual (but refreshing) growliness, this sounds just like the album!

Marvin

Whole album seems a fair bet considering the order of the first two songs...
EDIT - and there's number 3

I'd like to hear some CD2 stuff though, Down is the New Up and 4 Minute Warning have particularly grown on me.

Wow, nice guttoral retch there, I'm constantly impressed by live Radiohead, as much as I love their albums they really come to life on stage.

Sexton Brackets Drugbust

Looks like it's the whole album! They are astonishing Live!

Ed mentioned revealing a new track they'd been working on though...

chocky909

The way he said "guess what song's next..." suggests they will play the whole album.

Pseudopath

They're even swaying me round to the new version of Nude. Lovely bit of heavenly synth from Jonny there!

I can't see it, my computer is shit and stupid!

Try this link:

http://www.servecast.com/live/radiohead/player.html

Failing that, try launching Windows Media Player, clicking File > Open URL and pasting in the following link:

mms://live.wm.radiohead.servecast.net/hosting_wmlz_radiohead_160108_300k

If neither of those work, you're probably using a Mac and you need to download Flip4Mac or VLC before you'll be able to see it.

Marvin

All I Need live is a bit of a revelation, stunning stuff.

Pseudopath

Ha ha! He nearly said "Fair Trade to Rough Play". He's got global socio-economic concerns on the brain that lad!

Blamed it on the bass, didn't he? That'd be Colin, the scamp.

I thought Ed pointed the finger at that rascal Colin after initially getting the blame himself.

Yeah, those crazy kids!

chocky909

It was Adam Buxton's fault.

I hope they do some more warm gigs over the next few months and broadcast them like this. That'd be really great.

Who are you going to trust? Thom Yorke? Or Radiohead's Bez?

Only joshing...Ed's brill!

Marvin

I love Ed.

This is a very sexy song.

I'm still kind of hoping they play a few extra tracks after the album.

That would be fantastic. I'm amazed at how much they've been doing just for the fun of it, particularly after such a long wait between albums.

I love the big dumb stoner image Ed's picked up for himself.

I think Adam Buxton mentioned that the webcasts - Scotch Mist stuff in particular - might get a DVD release.

Pseudopath

Well. if you will use unusual time signatures in your songs, expect your sequencer to throw a wobbly from time to time! They're not going to do the drums live are they?!

Marvin

chocky909

Did someone say they were going to play a new song?

Excellent. I love Up On The Ladder.

Sexton Brackets Drugbust

Ed mentioned they'd been working in the studio on some new stuff and that they may reveal it some time in the next week or so.

We'll just have to see what happens.

Marvin

Ooh, 'some other shit', excellent! Nice acoustic Up The Ladder, and hopefully more 'other shit' to follow.

Excellent. I love Up On The Ladder.

It certainly sounds a lot better without the dodgy Rammstein backing track!
