Are we going to have a normal opening gun barrel sequence this time? I liked the change for Casino Royale and it worked with it being a reboot (by firing that shot and getting his his second kill he obtains double 0 status and "becomes" James Bond) but surely now it's time to get back to straightforward Bond business.

I'd imagine so - but I hope they drop the CGI bullet as used in Die Another Day.  I think it's fairly certain they will, though.

Im sure most Bond fanatics areaware that Sean COnnery didn't do the gun barrel sequence until something like Thunderball, with a stuntman doing it beforehand.

Was Timothy Dalton the last person to throw the hat onto the hatstand, or did he not do it? Surely that should be an element featured in the second film of the reboot.

Bond would be captured by the bad guy at the end of all of them, but then he would pull out his laser-watch (so secret it had been hidden EVEN FROM THE AUDIENCE!) and save the day!
