Ah yes, sorry, I forgot that if you experience traumatic events you should no longer need to eat.

Well done Noel Coward .

No one else on the island does apart from when hurley lets them sup from his hairy teet.

Reference one scene where Hurley displayed any serious emotional reaction to anything that happen since going with locke that might lead to him regreting anything.

Marvin

No. Why would I want to do that? It's just a bit ridiculous to say 'why would he regret it?' repeatedly when, well lots of obvious reasons. But obviously he got crackers so he should regret NOTHING!

Ja'moke

Maybe Hurley got really sick from those 15 year old crackers he was eating, which he would never have come across if he had went with Jack.

Maybe the crackers and Hurley's regret will be next season's story arc? As they're clearly the most important aspect of the finale.

Could be, Hurley has to get the crackers back to the island because since they've been missing it has sent the island into turmoil due to lack of wheat intake.

The season could be nicknamed Jacob's Crackers.

Why because he acted like fuck all happened the whole time yet the writers think it was significant that he should apologise in a serious and dramatic way. So i asked the question why. If it was serious enough to apologise for then its important enough to react to.

Identity Crisis Ahoy!

The last few episodes with the split camps were pretty worthless and confusing.

I mean, the last 5 replies in this thread mean nothing to me, I can't remember any of it. TOO MUCH STUFF GOING ON.

Just found this linked off Something Awful:

Image isn't linking properly, could you provide the link?

amputeeporn

I'd genuinely kill for a weekend at Bernie's-esque ep with Jack and Ben doing the corpse-holding honours.

Is it too soon for a season 5 thread yet, seeing as how they haven't started filming yet? Possibly, so I'll post this here instead:

http://io9.com/5029600/dharma-initiative-steals-the-show-at-lost-panel

QuoteLost season five doesn't begin shooting for another few weeks, so there was no new footage at Comic-Con's Lost panel. But that didn't mean there was a shortage of theatrics. The panel was "sponsored" by the Dharma Initiative, the shadowy science cabal that is connected to many of the island's weirdest mysteries. And the Dharma kerfuffle led to a major spoiler about the future of the show.

Artemis

Ooh, thanks for that. There's some pretty interesting stuff on that link, and the main spoiler about Dharma is pretty huge! I'm very excited about season five...

Ginyard

Woah! Giant erection in progress. I too am looking forward to this next intruiging season, not least because of the 'bad things that happened'. Only bummer...the love triangle. That is a bit tired and strained. They really just need to just solve the equation by writing in a happy-ever-after rampant sex threesome (Ok, chuck Sun and the ghost of Ana Lucia into that grand solution as well).

...Then take out Jack and Sawyer from the grand solution, and hey presto.

Ginyard

You mean a kate-on-her-own sex session (with Sun and the ghost of Ana Lucia)? Yeah, that could work!

Ja'moke

Time is not only of the essence, it IS the essence!

Exciting stuff, really looking forward to season five, so long a way though.

By the way can we add the ghost of Shannon to that Lost sex romp?

Kazuo Kiriyama

Zombie Shannon is my constant.

And that one who was a diamond thief.

I assume the huge spoiler you're talking about is
Spoiler alert
Vincent the dog will survive until the end of the show!  Woo!

Liza Goddard, AKA The Ice Maiden?

Wrong island mate.

Wrong island mate.

Those islanders are even more cagey about where they bury their dead

Ginyard

As I'm taking a day off and just lounging around, I went on the Fuselage and read a terrific post about that video clip. One very interesting theory is that:

Spoiler alert
Daniel Faraday is filming the video with Pierre Chang (it does sound like Daniel's voice). With that in mind there's been speculation that, after the island has shifted, Faraday returns to it in the zodiac craft but 30 years earlier. He then tells Chang all about the purge and their terrible fate.

I got a recruitment e-mail from the Dharma Initiative today which linked to this as-yet-not-working site: http://www.dharmawantsyou.com

another one of these alternative reality games I'd imagine.

JesusAndYourBush

Argh!  I saw this thread and it made me remember Lost.  I try to forget about it as it makes the long wait for the next episode not seem so long.  How long is it now, about half a year?

Ginyard

Yeah..about that. If you're that big a fan then watch it all from the beginning as a lead up to next series, that's what I'm going to do.

BTW, I couldn't sign onto that Dharma thing. It gives you the ok once you've done that psychometric test for dummies but filling out my details came up with a 'bad code' warning. I am actually game on following it this year as I've never done one of those ARG things before and, with my wife and kids away on holiday for a week, I get some slob time.
