You omitted Clive "remember the name, Wayne Rooney" Tyldesley with all his rehearsed excitement from that list.  Andy Gray is pretty similar in his use of apparently pre-prepared lines when he wants to give something gravitas, but I picked that Gerrard scoring clip up there because I'd never thought I'd hear him lose it to a Liverpool goal. 

I can picture that Giggs goal against QPR with Alan Partridge's "Yes, yes, yes, yes YES!" commentary.

I've been looking for a few clips with Motson (he can be annoying, but he can come out with some fantastic stuff) commentating, namely:

Vanderlei (Cruzeiro 0 Atletico Mineiro 4, April 2007) - An extraordinary lapse of concentration by Cruzeiro goalkeeper Fabio allowed Atletico Mineiro striker Vanderlei to score the fourth goal in the Belo Horizonte derby.

After conceding the third goal, Fabio was still looking for the ball in the net and had his back to play as Atletico scored again.

He apparently failed to notice as Cruzeiro kicked off with a different ball and passed it backwards.

The ball was intercepted by Vanderlei who, rather unsportingly, shot while Fabio's back was turned.

A furious Fabio then picked two balls out of the net and remonstrated with the referee to no avail.

Gary Crosby (Nottingham Forest 1 Manchester City 0, March 1990) - Similar to [Dion] Dublin's goal [where he sneaked up behind Shay Given to steal the ball and put it in the net, as shown in an earlier post] but even more ingenious.

The Forest winger was waiting behind Andy Dibble when the City 'keeper picked up the ball.

As Dibble held it out on his outstretched hand deciding whether to throw it or not, Crosby nipped around the keeper, nodded the ball out of his hand and rolled it into the net - a move recreated on playgrounds and park pitches ever since.
