Funny series sure, but after downloading a couple of episodes the other week after not seeing it for years I  may have agree (only slightly) with Jane Root, it has aged, but more on the standard of the perfomances rather than the content, all a bit "panto"...

Incidently I used to have a shit load of these on timecoded VHS a few years back, very weird to see how much they were written to time....in EVERY episode within the 24th minute you get a wacky Benny Hill style chase....is this a standard sit-com writing technique or am I just too anal for my own good and need to get out more?

Yes, EVERY episode. Except for the vast majority. Certainly not the twenty or so I have on tape.

This show sounds great, but I bet I'll end up missing it. Anyone thinking of capturing it?
