Give me ideas for a small 3D game

I've got fairly good at a 3D game-oriented programming language (Blitz3D) and a low-polygon modeller (Milkshape) now, and I'm pretty sure I could knock something together if I bothered - but I can't think of anything. This is a small collection of objects I've either done or stolen from Deus Ex and Mario 64, because I can:

Shows you what I can do, pretty basic inorganic low-polygon stuff. Anyone have any ideas? Maybe a parody or something.

Failing that, suggest something I could try modelling. Since I've done the BBC2 and C4 logos I might try the old BBC1 balloon...

Lt Plonker

I think it's pretty obvious that Mario runs a secret organisation called '42', in order to hunt down cheap video game knock-offs like that odd-looking Pacman and his miniature, green suited sidekick.

Possibly.

Bogey

Looks like Wizkid to me. Whatever happened to Sensible Software?

Is there any kind of physics engine with Blitz?

A general 3D smash em up sandbox would be a lot of fun, with the ability to just throw things into each other and cause mayhem :)

Elliot

How about a Ron Atkinson one.

space invaders
ron is at the bottom  fireing rascist slur bullets at the approaching lazy black football stars.

smart bomb can be one of his slogans.
im stoned

Not built-in, but there is a very good free engine called Tokamak that I'm experimenting with.

(And yes, that's meant to be WizKid. The green-suited sidekick is a character from a terrible obscure shareware Amiga adventure game called The Incredible Adventures of Edd Schiester #1: Escape From a Large Cave.)

Rats

Terry's lost his sarnies. You are Terry and must find all your sangas before this years harvest festival or all hells gonna break loose. Along the way you find yourself roped into other tasks which just involve searching for things to keep it relatively easy to make, missions include finding all of captain birdseyes fishfingers, all of ronny corbetts strewn porn stash, the complete edward scissor kidneys series and all 6 of mad dog sheep shovers nephews. The world doesn't have to be too big and the other characters could just be flat jpegs.

I'll have to investigate Blitz3D, i was well into all this shit during my early teenage years (Amos Pro on the Amiga!)  I dabbled with DarkBasic for a bit on the PC, and even put a Why Bother? Pong game up on an early version of this site, but gradually lost interest.  I'm good at programming but modelling and stuff is just not for me.  Why not just try some game homages at first, that's a good way to learn new things...redo Pac Man in 3D or something like that.

Crazy Penis

Just an idea off the top of my head, but why not relate it to something off this site. Maybe something involving various comedians, or, one where you have to collect programmes and put them in their different time slots in time for the programme to start.
Or if Neil wouldn't mind, have him as a character who has to run around the inside of the forums (a blue coloured world) either seperating good threads from bad ones, or collecting all the good threads while avoiding all the bad ones. Not sure what the threads would look like but if you displayed the titles of the threads you could use real thread topics off these forums. All the good ones would be from comedy chat and the bad ones from general discussion.
Or he could be running around hitting all the 'baddies' from the forums while rescuing the 'goodies'. You could consult him as to who they are and no one else would find out until they play the game. I'm sure that despite who turns out as what, everyone here will take it with humour.

Cerys

You play an eyeball, on its quest to find and construct the rest of its body.

(Seriously; I've been thinking about how this could work.  Possibly I have too much time on my hands....)

That strikes me as possibly being a very beautiful thing.

EFB

I know its a knee jerk AP quote, but a 3D game of Monkey Tennis would be fab.

joFFeman

model a penis for mario, then we'll talk.

Smackhead Kangaroo

Hmm the rend is for first person shooters and steakth games isn't it at the moment?
I suggest a stealth game appealing to the amoralistic youth of today.
Farmer Drummer's batch of prize turkeys are ripe for harvest, and you play as love rival Ignatius the bat. Slowly you must navigate the perils of the modern farm in an attempt to steal his beloved poultry.

featuring twisty turny political plot and cameos by Quentin Tarantino, Lord Lucan and  Christopher Walken as the transforming robot preacher.

Tony Martin as a playable character

What, the eyeball, or having too much time on my hands...?
