Status Quo vs Scooter- a match made in hell

Kraftwerk vs Right Said Fred

And, er, Howard from the Halifax vs Lloyds TSB:

There's your inspiration... now show us what you can do. While we're at it, what are the best and worst mashups you've ever heard?

Lee

Oh good, I thought you'd never ask.

10 mashups by moi including the "legendary" Winwood/Prydz/nose-relocation mix, the Beyonce one that got played on XFM and a remix by my mate Jason which consists of one of my messier mashups layered with audio taken from the execution of Ken Bigley. Enjoy.

I've got a mash-up I did of Beastie Boys - Intergalactic/Chad Jackson - Hear The Drummer Get Wicked... will upload it if I remember, it turned out surprisingly awesome for a spur-of-the-moment concoction derived from the brainstorm of a good friend.

madhair60

Idiot question: How are you making these?

Lee

1x instrumental + 1x acapella + Sony Acid Pro.

Eight Taiwanese Teenagers

Acid Pro is pretty easy.

I like Ableton but it's slightly more complicated and less instinctive.

daimoniac

ive heard a couple of cracking ones and some really bad.

echo & the bunnymen vs abba (voulez vouz/killing moon)
danny elfman vs PWEI (ich bin ein haloween auslander)
madonna vs sex pistols (ray of light/god save the queen)

i used to be a DJ at a punk night up here - i almost got lynched after i played that!

Blue Jam

Hehehehe, good work! Sounds suitably like the cheesy end of big beat too

Can't take too much credit, it's just a re-edit of an old Fatboy track with some Winehouse vocals pasted on top but cheers anyway ;)

Thanks to a colleague mentioning the Reynolds Girls on Friday, I've had their hit stuck in my head all weekend so threw this together in an attempt to exorcise the Scouse demons:

It didn't work :(

I'd Father Jack (Than Mustard Pat)

Maybe that should be your next project

Um, will this do instead?

"Mr Brightside Wanted to Be Haunted" -- yeah, I'm no good with titles.

As promised, here it is:
Beastie Boys/Chad Jackson - Intergalactic Drummer Gets Wicked

I think you'll find that it is sufficiently mint.

Nice work! The Beasties are a gift for this kind of thing, aren't they? Speaking of which:

Thank you! :)

I wish I'd seen your reply while I was still at a home computer so I could've downloaded your tune. Graaagh not having the net at home is beginning to drive me nuts.
