Arrrrrrgh! It's happening again!

Why oh why does my browser crash and close all my open windows when I click 'Play Now' on Isketch?

Any ideas? (other than re-installing Shockwave and Macromedia as I've just done both and am still getting nowhere.)

I've had a scan through the instructions section and this:

If you are using Windows XP you might need to configure the built-in firewall to be able to send and receive sketches:

Go to Start > My network places > View network connections
Right click internet connection. Choose Properties.
Click Advanced tab.
Click Settings.
On Services tab, click Add.
Type a name for service. (E.g. "iSketch")
Type in local IP address
External port number : 1627
Internal port number: 1627
Click TCP on.
Click OK. Then OK again.

Thing is the iSketch front page runs fine but when I try to activate anything on the page it's bloody crashville Alabama.

Does the login page have another url? If so I could try that.

Edit: It's not my firewall either.

I've been having problems with all Shockwave things actually - basically, it does the "installing shockwave" thing, finishes, reopens the browser window and starts again, just stuck in an infinite loop of installing Shockwave.

Oh well.

It won't work.  Just get a little coloured square in the corner, as if I'm trying to open a picture that's been put up wrongly.  i can't do yahoo doodle either, and I couldn't open that obedient chicken thing.

I made a mans face and it had a big round nose. But it was all upside down so I scrapped it. Then I drew a hastily cooked ham joint but it didn't save properly.


Have you guys tried seeing if you can uninstall shockwave in add/remove programs and try the install again?

I've just been on and ogt into an aurgment about the rules (or rule) and the spirit of the game with some cow who wouldn't let me draw COKE and PEPSI etc on cans. What's wrong with these people? As long it's not direct to the clue I don't see any reason why I can;t use standard symbols like SOS or 666.
