Had a quick search and don't think anyone has mentioned these guys so thought I'd give them a little "big-up"....

2 Fellas, sounding pretty Soully-Folky-AMrocky...signed to Skint though! People have compared them to Dylan, Lee Hazelwood and Nick Cave...

The album "Our troubles end tonight" is out now...few stand-out tracks are:

You stole my heart away
You're lovely to me
Our troubles end tonight

(These all launch in Realplayer unfortunately due to whatever they have going on with their server)

Other tracks worth a listen are Lesbia, Almeria, The Honeymooners...whole album really!

More stuff on their website: http://www.luckyjim.org

I meant to reply to this earlier,

I've been listening to 'You're lovely to me' and very Dylanesque it is too,

I've been on the look out for other tracks but they never materialised. I think I got them mixed up with a group called Drew, who having investigated I found out from their album I only liked one track and never went back.

Lucky Jim sounds a bit like Calexico with a different singer, not a bad thing.
