For each of the following 28 movie stills, post an IMDB link and title for the film from which they are  taken. The most complete and correct list posted by 9pm Tuesday will get a £10 Amazon gift token. Multiple posts are allowed. In the event of a tie, the first list posted will win the token. I'll PM the winner and they will need to give me an email address to which to send the token... Good luck.

Egyptian Feast

I think #2 may be Inserts, but don't quote me on that.

Zero Gravitas

Nah, that's a dream sequence from 8½.

26. I only saw recently F for Fake http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0072962/

13 and 22 are so familiar - but do you think I can place them?  I can't.

I've just seen "Whatever Works" and will sell my knowledge of which one it is for either a cheese roll or if anyone can help me move these boxes into the loft.

Zero Gravitas

As if anyone is going to give you a cheese roll in return for the number 10.

For bonus money, can anyone place this one?

Spoiler alert
There's a cryptic clue hidden in the picture somewhere.

No. 11 has to be Burden Of Dreams, right?

I guessed Laputa as well, but that's about all I got.

I think #8 is this:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116835/

Yep - that's one of the two I definitely know.

The other is 19: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0266425/

20 looks Russian, possibly Tarkovsky, but not Solaris.

Zero Gravitas

No cigar, I'm pretty sure it's SHOAH http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090015/ TPPHM would enjoy it.

22 is Ruthless People, I think.

Cerys

Judge Reinhold!  That's who it is!

El Unicornio, mang

I'm ashamed to say I only recognise three of these (Ruthless People, Hitler: Rise of Evil and...erm...Orson Welles film). I'll personally hand deliver a 100 quid Amazon gift card to anyone who gets this!

I think 16 could be I Start Counting, based on the fact that it's a colour film starring Jenny Agutter, but looking younger than she did in The Railway Children, which narrows it down to about...one. It also doesn't appear to be on DVD, which would explain the VHS screengrab.

Does that include jutl?

jutl gets one too, for coming up with such a deviously difficult quiz

I thought I'd be good at this.

I was wrong.

27 could be Bonfire of the vanities

Aye, could be. I'm pretty sure the tubby shortarse is Saul Rubinek.

After one day, Tokyo Sexwhale is the only person to list and link more than one movie in his post. If the guesses he cites are correct, he's in the lead at the moment.

Zero Gravitas

I would collate mine into a single post but that carries the danger of winning.
