Guess the Film(s)
« on: September 08, 2010, 12:03:03 PM »
Pretty simple, supply a short, rubbish description of a film (probably best to leave names out unless it's cryptic) and have a guess at any unanswered ones.

I shall start the ball rolling:

1. Russian hospitality involves blowtorches.

2. She's not too friendly with the balls

3. Dominated Japanese prozzie goes feral on her unsuspecting clients.

4. This is at first a typical Americana piece and then goes bat-shit.

5. Mental tale of a man gone machine. Noisy as fuck, all but incomprehensible.

Worra them then?

If you fancy subverting the idea with unusual screenshots or whatever in a mass Empire-quiz-stylee then by all means do so.

8. Two men go on a plane, a train and finally an automobile.

6- Neverending Story?

3. Audition? Don't think that's right, she's not a prozzie, but what the hell.

Well you're right anyway! I suppose there's more ways then one in which the description can be rubbish, sorry about that.

I do hope you're being devilishly cryptic.

6- Neverending Story?

Try again.

Have another go, Cerys:

7. This is at first a typical Americana piece and then goes bat-shit.

If I do the obvious and guess FDTD again, will I be right?  Or is it another piece of apparent Americana in which everything ends up going batshit?  Like Blue Velvet, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas or Babe 2 - Pig in the City?

Is it Blue Velvet? If it's not it could be.

Not Blue Velvet (or any of the others), more obscure.

The change from apparently normal to totally mental is much more sudden.

I do hope you're being devilishly cryptic.

It isn't the blindingly obvious one, so it's a bit cryptic.
