If you find you're having problems with it today / over the weekend, this may explain:

We are ready to put into production an additionnal new server for SoulSeek.

This new server will be dedicated to serve pages for www.slsknet.org,
emails and Paypal donations. The main server will then be dedicated
for running the main server software.

Advantages will be:

- Website is still going to be up even when the Soulseek server is
down, rebooting, dead or in maintenance
- Main Soulseek server will be more stable since it will have less
things to do

We plan to work on this migration this week-end (9 july->11 july). So
you can expect some downtimes while we move things around. I will
post news about the migration steps here in this thread as we go
along.

Now listen carefully.. YOU DO NOT NEED TO CHANGE ANYTHING ON YOUR
COMPUTER TO TAKE BENEFIT OF IT! Its all going to be automatic. Do NOT
mess with your configuration if something is not working, its
probably because we are moving stuff around. Not rushing to the
technical forum to post "Is Soulseek down?" messages is also a good
idea.
