Anyone catch this yet?
It's certainly a return to form for Night S but I bet he wished he'd directed this rather than that sorry mess The Last Airbender. Incredibly tense and great performances from all involved.
Aparantly this 0si the first of three films.

I caught this last week. It's pretty good, nowhere near Night's earlier stuff though. But it did have some of that mystical folklaw kind of thing in it.
The plot was alright and kept the suspense up throughout.

I think it lacked some of the stuff that he usual excels at though, that sudden shock type stuff that was prevalent throughout his first few films, for example the alien's hand under the kitchen door in Signs and similar stuff in The Village. Devil could have really done with some of these, there were a few scenes where they would have blotted in nicely.

good film, especially compared to that wind one. And I'm looking forward to the next two.
