Depressed Beyond Tables

I was recommended this video on Youtube, as happens sometimes, for whatever reason.

The lazy, awful, unimaginative *song that goes with it is unfortunately far too common nowadays on the tube of you.

Post your best and worst audio-pictorial marriages.

*I still don't know or care wot its called (lol)

-Elvis Costello's God's Comic accompanying footage of silent comedians, with notes pertaining to the details of their deaths. It's very good, or at least good enough for me to have gone back to it a few times. But then I do really like Costello and silent comedies, so it's sort of aimed at me.

The worst videos are those which put a Creed tracks over footage of the 9/11 attacks.

I'm not sure whether this will show up or not* but - when the football World Cup was on and England slumped to a 0-0 draw with Algeria, I made this video celebrating how shit the english team were. I picked the music just because it was sad and it was meant to be a funny vid but it turned out quite beautiful and poignant (well the bit with the bird is anyway)

*FIFA kept getting it taken down because i used their highlights reel of the game at the start. Fuckig pricks.

Corny as hell, I know, but this compilation of clips from UKTV History's 'Sixties Season' alongside The Zombies' 'Hung Up On A Dream' is pretty wonderful. At least, I think it is. I dunno... just watching it makes me kinda think, 'shit... I was born in the wrong decade, man.'

Like I said, corny as hell, but I love it.

Know the track but never seen that promo before. Excellent stuff!
