I really love you Billy. Gorgeous, that one.

The Poppy Family had some absolutely fantastic tracks; lots of gentle pop/psychedelia. Evil Overshadows Joe

is one of may favourites.

'Free From The City' is the only song of theirs I know - and it's excellent. Never thought to check if they'd done anything else, despite knowing that Terry Jacks was involved - I always had a soft spot for 'Seasons In The Sun'. Maybe I will now...

Deltron fans may recognise this gem of a song about urban alienation:

Wasn't aware the Poppy Family were so poppy-ular, I'd listened to a bunch of their tracks years ago - particularly like this cover they did of an old teenage dirge - some nice angular wah wah riffing:

Really reminds me of a song called Charley Cinders on the Adventures Of Keith by Keith album, check out that album if you ain't heard it, it's rather good.
