Not the ideal way to watch films, of course, but there's loads of full films on Youtube. Do you have any favourites? Or would you be so kind as to post the ones you've found?

I'll start things off with "Children of the Living Dead", which I've not watched yet but I'm presuming as it has Living Dead in the title it'll be great.

Santa's Boyfriend

One of the greatest (and bleakest) UK films ever made, and a regular one to pop up on these forums.  If you haven't seen it, you're not really a CABer.

Seconded, definitely give it a look if you haven't seen it. Though be warned, it is indeed relentlessly depressing.

Claude the Racecar Driving Rockstar Super Sleuth

This fellow has uploaded Jacobs Ladder and Session 9, albeit in the wrong aspect ratio.

Desi Rascal

Strikers pretty good the director was far from pleased with the studio for sabotaging the Box office receipts by premièring it on Youtube.

I remember seeing that first time round and being mildly shocked at seeing a woman piss herself. Its a testament to its impact that so many people I know still recall it. Unlike kit Curran which bloody NOBODY seems to remember except me.

Joy Nktonga

I remember it Ginyard. It was my most favourite ever sitcom until I d/led it from T****x. It's not stood up too well I don't think. Kept it though for nostalgia.

I don't think it's fully up though, there's a few parts missing on YouTube.

Alex Cox's "Three Businessmen", which is good news cos I couldn't find it on any torrent sites after reading his book:

There's some interesting stuff on Blinkbox that you can watch for free (legally) - Day of the Dead & a documentary about Romero (Document of the Dead), Street Trash, Straight to Hell, Encounters at the End of the World, City on Fire, Big Man Japan and a few Argento films.

EDIT - Actually forget that - I've just tried watching one and they've got ad breaks every 15 minutes or so during the films.

There are nearly all the non-officially-released episodes on there, but a particular Mystery Science Theater 3000 classic for this time of year, "Santa Claus Conquers The Martians" is available. Part one:

Bloody hell, I reckon there's some copyright lawyers that ought to be trailing Youtube.

My favourite film ever, "Wild Strawberries", in its entirety. Kids today, don't know how lucky they've got it. I had to traipse to another bloody city to go and watch this in an arthouse cinema, and you lot can just click a few buttons. DAMN YOU ALL

Sorry if this is old news, but this is the first time I've noticed the Youtube movies page with a lot of unsplit free films.

How does any of that tally with the idea that you can;t have anything interesting – sex, nudity, extreme violence etc – on Youtube? Are they edited to hell?

A quick check reveals there's a "viewer discretion is advised" bit at the beginning of at least "Bad Taste"; but it's 87 minutes whereas it's listed on IMDB at 91 minutes, so...maybe?

Interesting, Amazon and Lovefilm have it listed as 88 and 87 respectively.

Having said that, the set-piece from Piranha 3D is up in full on Youtube so they can't have too much of an issue with cinema gore.

Famous Mortimer

Maybe it's IMDB that's fibbing. I'd watch one of them to find out but I doubt I'd notice what had been cut out of it.
