Has anyone seen this yet?
It's nicely made, gripping at times and really quite affecting at the end. The pall of inauthenticity hangs over it constantly though. To say nothing for the ethics of the filmmakers. Thought provoking though. A very sad story if it is real.

Whoops.
The more I think of it, and looking again at bits and pieces now, a lot of the setup is clearly staged. It's still interesting though. The intentions and motivations of the filmmakers are intriguing in themselves. They don't come out of it very well. It's the end part that is the nub of the film though, and that seemed pretty authentic to me. Albeit in clearly manipulated circumstances.

Eis Nein

Fitting that the guy's name is Naive. "It's the part I was born to play, baby!"

"They ovulate eggs!"

Just watched Talhotblond actually. Compelling stuff. But to be honest I found that a lot more objectionable than this.
The shameless and salacious targeting of

. Extremely tabloidy, borderline outright sexist, and completely undermined an otherwise very well produced film.
