Harpo Speaks

Anyone seen this?

QuoteIt's Christmas Eve in Finland but Santa is not setting off for his traditional rounds. Deep in the Korvatunturi Mountains, a team of scientists are about to uncover a secret that has been buried for hundreds of years. When children start to go missing and animals are found slaughtered, a young local boy begins to realise that this Christmas will be different.

I really enjoyed it, definitely worth a look if you haven't seen it. I did feel it dipped in the final third however,
Spoiler alert
basically from when they get trapped in the warehouse. It also seems like it's going to end about three times as well.

There's some fantastic tension building and scenes earlier on though -
Spoiler alert
the slaughtered reindeer, the reveal of the excavated mountain, and the stand-off with one of Santa's 'Helpers'.

Santa's Boyfriend

Apparently not!  I'm quite keen to see it, but will wait until next year now.

Watched this with the whole fam on crimbus eve, great fun. Agree it dipped, but
Spoiler alert
it picked up again right at the end, with them cultivating their new santa livestock - cracking stuff!
