Along with a framing frame that it's really popular with idiots on youtube...I don't mind saying I'm confused but the execution is pretty good other than the hearts which are barely heart shaped.

I'm reading this as someone has broken into school grounds and drawn a chalk nonce in the night, I find this to be a pleasing thought, the implied pull back from the first image is a very nice touch. Technically also very well done.

Great usage of the pose in a way other than boring old pulling on ropes that's the sort of spark of random recombination I like to call talent. That plate is clearly cheating space-filling though.

They're not pulling but climbing! Great re-use here, plus it's got tits and quite frankly I was shocked by the competence displayed here, there's not even any jagged lines!

So they've skewered the brown whale and are now dragging it back to the surface to give it a bloody good harpooning. a deeply erotic image particularly as it gives the impression some of the boys can't stand to look at their task while others are eyeing the void with relish.

Are diddyboys a thing? I have no idea. The thought of an island culture consisting solely of boys in hats working non-stop to raise giant dod-head sculptures while unwittingly deforesting their home into oblivion is probably just an interpretation from inside my own head.

Lyndon's is worst for not being easy enough to grasp and for the poor quality of the love hearts(?).

Foiled again by not being talented or funny enough. I was gonna give him cartoon eyes popping and jaw dropping, as in 'I can't believe my luck, [at children/tugging sort of thing]', but after 18 pages of Simpsons porn on GIS for 'cartoon jaw dropping' I gave up. I don't mind going out in a good round.

Another tricky one. A really good round. I actually quite liked Lyndon's - it was prompt off the mark, getting the inevitable paedophilia material out of the way by referencing the lazy use of paedophilia material. I'm not sure there is a caption round in Mock the Week, but if there were, this would surely have happened in real life (except with slightly smoother edges).

Repentia - I too like the 'zoom out' and the callback to the Cerne Abbas giant, this time as a chalk outline. That the forensics team would go to the detail of drawing round the penis and nipples shows that perhaps they could be crucial to solving the case. And is that an idle game of tug-of-war going on in the background, or are they perhaps shifting the victim's inert naked body to its final resting place - the school canteen?

Cerys - I'm a sucker for a wordy mong. It's great that you've recast the lead tugster as Peter Narnia, and used his pose well to change the whole meaning of the thing. Just the sort of story you'd read over your breakfast portion of Turkish delight. I found myself rubbing my eyes looking for an anagram in the headline, though.

small_world's is brilliant - great cutout skills on the lads as ZG said, but also a very funny idea that made me 'LOL' ('LOL out loud'). Good re-orientation of the protagonists. However, I will take issue with the top right of the image - I feel some lower section of Rapunzel would be visible through the balcony balusters. Unless of course she is just a severed chesty torso perched on the balustrade, in which case I worry that a) with all those boys climbing up her hair, she could well topple off the edge, and b) if she doesn't fall off, the boys will be very disappointed when they find out the rather disgusting truth.

DocDaneeka - ugh! Such a good choice for the woman on the right. The pose and expression is perfect. I can only echo my colleague's praise. I'm intrigued as to what the packet actually contains, though - just the harpoons? The lads themselves, in tablet form? Just add water? Who knows. But good work, Doc - you have dragged this competition down to its rightful level.

Big Jack McBastard - a self-confessed rush job, but a nice idea done well. To turn the tugsters into a troop of Dodd-fearing slaves was a great touch, although the thought of visiting this hideous travesty of Easter Island fills my pants.

Because I have to eliminate someone, I'm afraid, Jack, it's gonna be you. I could say it's on the mere technicality of your entry being in late, but the fact is, you spelt 'schedule' incorrectly. You probably pronounce it 'skedule' as well, you monster. But please, don't be discouraged. Thank you for taking part, keep monging, and don't forget to be extremely shallow and discriminatory in the next round when you get to knock someone out yourself.
