'Four Lions,' British director Chris Morris's (whom some may recognize as Denholm from 'The IT Crowd') extremely dark comedy about a U.K. terrorist sleeper cell's attempts to activate, was one of Cinematical's favorite films of 2010. In fact, we made it official when we voted internally at the end of the year and 'Four Lions' ended up in our collective Top 10. It also took the top spot in John Gholson's list of 2010's Best Comedies. So, yeah, we're pretty big 'Four Lions' fans around these parts.

That's why we're thrilled to present the online unveiling of the Blu-ray and DVD cover art and street date for 'Four Lions,' which arrives stateside thanks to Alamo Drafthouse Films. As for the date, you can take the laughs home on March 8, 2011. And as for the cover art, well, you'll have to hop below to check those, as well as the press release and product specs, out in full.

Magnolia Home Entertainment and Drafthouse Films' Four Lions, nominated for "Outstanding British Film" and "Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer" (Chris Morris) by the British Academy of Film & Television, debuts on Blu-ray and DVD March 8.

Marking the directorial debut of renowned UK satirist Chris Morris and co-written with Sam Bain (Peep Show) and Oscar nominee* Jesse Armstrong (In The Loop), the acclaimed film was heralded as one of the funniest and boldest comedies of the year, appearing on major year end Top Ten lists, including Time Magazine, Associated Press, E! Online, Hit Fix, Aint It Cool News, Box Office Magazine and many more. Writer-director Chris Morris based the idea of a group of inept suicide bombers for Four Lions on extensive research: "These cells have the same group dynamics as bachelor parties and five-a-side basketball teams. Plans are upset by arguments, egos, testosterone and idiocy. Do the basic flaws in human nature take a polite sidestep around a jihadi cell? No." said Morris.

Four Lions takes us on a journey with a "home grown" cell and satirizes all sides of the war on terror through their farcical story. The film has been lauded as "laugh-out-loud funny" and "wickedly accurate." While hugely entertaining, it draws from what experts call "the bunch of guys theory" and demonstrates that extremists through their shortcomings are all too human. Omar (Riz Ahmed; Centurion), Waj (Kayvan Novak; Syriana), Barry (Nigel Lindsay; Scoop), Faisal (Adeel Akhtar; Traitor), and Hassan (Arsher Ali; Silent Witness) are a quintet of British would-be suicide bombers whose story shows how terrorism may be about ideology but it is also about idiots. Featuring appearances by Benedict Cumberbatch (Atonement) and Will Adamsdale (Pirate Radio), Four Lions is a powerful satire that "manages to present a global incompetence on all sides of the issue, without demeaning any party involved." (Twitch Film).

Containing bonus materials including deleted scenes, mini "background" documentaries about Muslim life in Britain, interview with Morris, and behind the scenes segments, the Four Lions Blu-ray Disc™ and DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $29.98 and $26.98, respectively.

Short Synopsis
A whip-smart, slapstick comedy, Chris Morris' FOUR LIONS takes aim at Jihadi suicide bombers and illuminates the war on terror through satire and farce. Follow five inept aspiring terrorists on their quest to strike a blow, and how they demonstrate that terrorism may be about ideology, but it can also be about idiots.

Long Synopsis
Chris Morris' Four Lions is a whip-smart, laugh-out-loud comedy that illuminates the war on terror through satire and farce. Four Lions proves that while terrorism may be about ideology, it's also about idiots. In a British city, four men have a secret plan. Omar (Riz Ahmed) is disillusioned about the treatment of Muslims around the world and is determined to become a soldier. This is the most exciting idea Waj (Kayvan Novak) has ever heard. Better still it's a no brainer because Omar does his thinking for him. Opposed to Omar and everyone else on earth is the white Islamic convert Barry (Nigel Lindsay). He'd realize he joined the cell to channel his nihilism - if he had half the self knowledge of a duck. Faisal (Adeel Akhtar) is the odd man out. He can make a bomb – but he can't blow himself up just now coz his sick dad has "started eating newspaper". Instead he's training crows to fly bombs through windows. This is what Omar has to deal with. They must strike a decisive blow on their own turf but can any of them strike a match without punching himself in the face? Four Lions plunges us beyond seeing these young men as unfathomably alien. It undermines the folly of just wishing them away or, even worse, alienating the entire culture from which they emerge. The film is neither pro nor anti religious. The jokes fly out of the characters' conflicts, excesses and mistakes. Crackling with wit and tension, Four Lions is the essential response to our failure to engage with reality and a high toast to the idea that laughter is better than killing.
