QuoteSet in 1979 Ohio, a group of six young children use a Super 8 camera to make their own home movie. One night while filming near a remote stretch of railroad tracks, the children witness a truck collide with an oncoming train leading to a catastrophic derailment. Amidst the fire and destruction, something inhuman emerges.

JJ Abrahm's collaboration with Spielberg. "Top secret", as ever. The teaser went out during yer Super Bowl the other day, and it's got me interested.

I enjoy me some JJ. LOST, Cloverfield, Star Trek, can leave his Mission Impossible and Alias, but i enjoy his viral teasers and the way he keeps things hidden away til near release, and builds up excitement and anticipation for his work. He strikes me as quite a good ideas man too, if not overly original. I'm always interested in what he's doing next, so hopefully this will deliver.

Out June 10th.

Not sure I should bother, haven't caught the first seven.

Famous Mortimer

I loved Cloverfield, and even loved Alias up the point where they just gave up (the last season, where they replaced half the cast, a sure sign a show is entering its death throes). So I will give this a chance and go and see it at the pictures.

It seems its going to be more E.T rather than Cloverfield, which I actually think will be a lot more interesting.
