He's probably crying about that unfollow.

He fuckin' should be. I'm the head of BBC Scotland.

Tiny Poster

Did you miss his successful attempt to shed 1000 followers the other week? He doesn't give a shit.

Yes, I saw the 1000 unfollow challenge. But he has just carried on with the shite reguardless.

Bennygaylord

It's almost like he didn't learn (?) his (??) lesson (???)

Weren't you one of the people saying he deserved to get "in trouble" with The Sun for making provocative Tweets?

Deserved? No. Said he was being stupid.

NoSleep

For winding up The Sun? I'd say reading the Sun was more a qualification for stupid.

Danger Man

I suppose this should go in the Wikipedia thread....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limmy's_Show#Series_Three

The BBC has refused to announce any news of a possible third series. Limmy has vaguely expressed interest in a couple of radio interviews about series two. Given how quickly Limmy's second series was commissioned questions are being asked as to why news of the third series hasn't come sooner. This, combined with internet rumours about Limmy having emigrated to Montreal has left fans doubtful that a third series will be happening anytime soon, if at all

Ballad of Ballard Berkley

Limmy's written that Wikipedia entry himself, then?

Great blog post here by Iain Davidson, writer/producer/odds and sods for a lot of Comedy Unit production where he talks about the whys of why shows like Limmy's Show and Burnistoun aren't on nationwide. Very enlightening about the process.

Excellent stuff. So interesting I thought I'd start a new thread about it.

Bennygaylord

The Daily Record is fucking shite.

Wasn't that the Pet Shop Boys theme from The Clothes Show used in the final toffee pudding sketch?

No it wasn't, it was the main theme tune to the show wasn't it?

No. Limmy made the main theme. The Pet Shop Boys - In The Night was used in the restaurant/spoons sketch. Fascinating song about WWII politics in France and the Zazou subculture.

No, it's been changed on Netflix then as it's definitely just the main theme tune in the spoons sketch, no PSB unfortunately. Rights issue or something?

Oh I misunderstood, I thought you were saying that In The Night was the theme to Limmy's Show.

I made some observations about the Netflix changes here: https://www.cookdandbombd.co.uk/forums/index.php/topic,72541.msg3794208.html#msg3794208

The Tina Turner Nutbush sketch has been cut from Netflix due to copyright

Nya ha, I see. I actually liked how Jimmy Somerville was blurred out, I thought that was part of the joke to 'hide' that they obviously hadn't got the real one.
