On another Sci Fi francise topic, does'nt sound like Tron is getting a sequel but an Animated TV show is in the works.

In related news, do not read the Blade Runner sequel books. They're really really bad.

Mister Six

Although obviously Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? is pretty good.

I may be going mad but wasn't 'We can remember it for you wholesale' supposed to be set in the same universe?

I don't think so but the TV spin off of Total Recall, the short-lived Total Recall 2070 was basically Blade Runner the series.   Or at least it tied to be.

I'll be going madder, then.
I distinctly remember the preview guff of Paul WS Anderson's Soldier touting itself as being in the same world as Blade Runner and Kurt Russell was another type of replicant.

Huh, looks like you're right-ish.

And Total Recall 2070, despite not being the most expensive-looking show ever, had some pretty good ideas (and was definitely half Total Recall, half Blade Runner).
