The best team overall so far has 64 points and has made 19 transfers.

Yes, but there were two games yesterday, and you're allowed to transfer between the two games.  So you could have 11 players from the first game, swap them out for another 11 players for the second game.  You could then transfer another 11 players for the games today, thus making possible 22 transfers in total (you could also have made transfers by mistake, and brought someone in and then got rid of them).

i was going to sort my team after my exams, but i only sobered up in time to watch Portugal Vs. Greece, and i'm far too lazy to make 11 transfers now.... like Sven et al will no doubt say, there's always the World Cup in 2 years, when the team will really be ready for it, etc.

I wasn't sure who Portugal's first choice 'keeper was, and I did a Google search and stuff and discovered it was the delightfully named Quim.  And then he didn't start.  I didn't bother to swap though, because I doing the ironing.  I'm so rock 'n' roll, me.

No matter anyways, Portugal conceeded 2.  That made oy larf.  Until last night of course.  Football isn't fun anymore.

How's this diddlin' now?  I checked it at home the other day and I was third from bottom, but some transfers should have got me some points over the last few days - I drafted in Maniche just before the Portugal game last night and he came up trumps.

Has someone here joined The Partridge Premiership (see above)?  There's a team in there called My Lovely Horse and I've no idea who it is.
