Saw this the other day and was mesmerised by the whole process. Very dark - think creature comforts spliced with trainspotting.

I'm sure most of the people on here can do their own research on the film and the famous playwright but for those who want to immerse themselves into the best British film in the past few years I'd suggest giving it a go and jumping straight in.

THE ARBOR - OFFICIAL UK TRAILER - in cinemas 22nd Oct

Cheers for the report - the film was mentioned (very) briefly in this thread and I've been meaning to see it.

It is by far one of the best British films of the past few years. Dark as hell, but it's compelling and the conceit (having the actors lip-sync) works superbly. It's funny how universal it is. I am from 'Oop North and thought that had a lot to do with my connection to it. But then I got the film screened in Estonia and the audience really responded to it as well. A truly great film.
