Digging about for more info about BBC4's upcoming Viv Stanshall documentary, as revealed here: http://www.cookdandbombd.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=1974 I discovered that there's also one about Gil Scott-Heron that same evening.

It's a great film by Don Letts, first shown in October 2003. It was last on about a month ago. Proper interviews, loads of interesting footage, a decent spread of his four decades and plenty on Spirits which left me happy.
