There should be some kind of rule that guitar bands should never try and cover dance/pop songs, and dance/pop groups should NEVER try and do rock songs.  Especially if that is the end result.

In theory this could've been amazing, but the entire band sound like they just cannot be arsed. The arrangement is dull, Hannon's vocal is totally disinterested and the whole thing drags like a sulky child being forced to go shopping with it's mum. Yeah, plus, even though Travis were already becoming quite unfashionable, it got a lot of attention and, going by memory, popularised the useless trend of "ironic/hip/indie cover versions of pop songs". Reports came in that Coldplay were "wackily" doing Like I Love You on their tour around the same time...ugh!
