I saw this just last night and quite enjoyed it. It did follow the John Carpenter formula so there was nothing pushing it out with perhaps the exception of
Spoiler alert
the spaceship and actually viewing the interior of it

. What did impress me was how respectfull of the JC film it was. The music was the same, the tone was the same, but I think they overplayed the trust factor a little too much. The SPFX were good in that I could not tell which was real and which was CGI, if any, but some of the transformations must have been CGI, perhaps someone with a more detailed eye can spot it.

DO stick around for the end credits, thats how a prequel film should end.

I give it seven teeth out of ten.

Is it in Norwegian?

That would've been an amazing move. It's not though is it?

VegaLA

Well, a lot of the Cast and crew are Norwegian, and I think it was directed by a Norwegian but I Universal are the suits behind it.

Regardless, its well worth seeing.

Does it end with 2 men in a helicopter chasing a dog?

When is it released in UK?

For some bizarre reason, it's not out here until December. Presumably by which time most people will be offered it in pubs for three quid as part of a three for five bargain from the porno man

and The Yellow Sea was only on for a mere week at my local independent! That's Crapnizz, people. The death of cinema happened while I was sleeping.
