So who is DJ Steve? Apparently a DJ from Tropea in Southern Italy, although there is rumour abound that it is one of the DFA crew under a pseudonym. I think he's real though, and when you hear him speak when he is being interviewed by Tim Sweeney he does sound like a genuine Italian struggling with English rather than someone pretending to be Italian. I just don't think that some people can comprehend that there is someone in a small coastal town in Italy doing this kind of stuff.
