It's a collection of short sketches directed by different people, which might explain the cast list

The wonderful Justin Long (as he should be always addressed) is Robin in Movie 47. I'm wondering if it's going to be this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOmPK13TeJs but with a different Batman. & bigger production values.

No wisp of hair = not John McClane. Someone should tell him. I like to imagine 16 Blocks as Die Hard 4. It makes a lot more sense.

This trailer is utterly baffling. Looks like one of those utterly terrible gross-out comedies and yet it's cast includes...

It's a mass blackmail project.

I'm massively fascinated by that. If I'm remembering rightly, I think the gimmick of the movie is supposed to be that it's a fuckload of short comedic segments with a lot of high-profile stars, all directed by lots of different people. But the trailer doesn't make any of that clear at all. It doesn't make anything clear, it's just a collection of random jokes from wildly different scenes and situations. Just fucking confusing.

But... that basketball joke. During the first scene I thought it was an unbelievably shit and hokey joke 'ha ha black people are better at white people at basketball!' But when it came back again with 'So Coach, what you are saying is that because we are black people, we are good at basketball while the people who are white are not as good?' 'Yes, I am saying that we are going to win at the basketball because we are black, and black people are good at basketball.' I just had to think... fuck, maybe I've misunderstood this movie, maybe it's an attempt to make the least funny comedy in history. I can't think of any explanation why such a laboured scripting of an already fucking shit joke made it to the movie itself, let alone prominence in the very first trailer.

Tom Cruise is... JACK HARPER!

and he's in the war torn future and he wears a yankees cap and the fate of humanity is in his hands. I don't know the comic books, but this looks fairly cack. My interest is piqued.

Is this not just Magicians but with Americans?

The Duck Man

Looks like a waste of a good cast, that.

Michel Gondry's new film. You'll never guess what song they picked for the trailer!!!

I've had that book lying around for so fucking long. No way am I gonna watch Gondry's vision of it before reading the book, although it mightn't be that far off.
