Can you think of anyone more qualified to fulfill that role?

Soopersonic was on the Real Marigold thing on bbc1 a couple of week ago-

Apparently, he goes swimming with Wayne Sleep and a load of bollock-naked Vietnamese fellas.

and the Krankies Toughs were in an episode too.

I recorded it at the time, will edit the bits without L&L and chuck it on Vimeo at some point this weekend.

Thanks Morrison Lard!

Eddie getting R. Dean Taylor right is my telly highlight of the year so far now. Confirmation of what many of us have suspected too - Syd was a musical pioneer who surely would have revolutionised the world of popular music had Eddie ever let him play his song.

Fascinating to see how the dynamic has shifted with Syd being the dominant partner here. I'm concerned about Eddie's tongue lolling though. Never a good health symptom. Poor old Mel Smith in his last years springs to mind.

Thank you! Syd and Eddie would be quite handy in a pub quiz, another string to their bow.

That was a truly lovely moment. Eddie knows his northern soul nuggets!
