I'd say only 1 of those in that scene don't look constipated.

A fine taste in ladies.

Do I HAVE to explain everything??????

You don't have to, but I really love it when you do.

The long game.  Duh!

The schlong game, if the rumour about Mo Farrah is true.

I reckon they should do a Trials and Tribble-ations and bung her into a bunch of old episodes. In fact if they're planning on showing any old stories for the anniversary, they should just subtly slip her into them somewhere in the background without drawing attention to it.

It'll be nice to hear the original Grange Hill theme tune again.

Hopefully more subtle than this.

Yeah, the original give us a clue theme tune.

The problem with them trying to combine old and new footage is that all the old episodes are on poor quality video tape or very grainy 16mm. If they include any old footage then they'll have too have it appear on monitors within the story or something that would hide its poor quality. A better bet might be to recreate classic scenes from the old show and I use doubles for the old doctors with CGI faces, like that morecombe and wise clip.

Or better still, have an anniversary story that doesn't feature old doctors at all.

From the trailer, this is our first glimpse of the new Cybermen in motion:

At first sight they definitely appear to have lost their "stomp", which is good.

That middle one's head wobbles a lot, and he whacks his pal on the shoulder. I reckon he's the class clown.

More organic movement all round.  They're not robots.

Thomas

I quite agree. I'm sure Neil Gaiman has a great tale prepared for us.

I would shag a man who approached me in that costume.

How would an Earthshock Cyberman fit into "that" costume?  He is getting his hopes up, that lad.

Very silly.

Nah, he's just taken delivery of some chainmail.  Mmmmm.  Clinky.

Replies From View

Don't tell him that a kind of woven mop painted silver looks much the same, and would be considerably lighter in weight, nor that I am available to add the necessary "clinky" foley should that be intrinsic to the experience.

Cerys

Knitted chainmail is shit.  He and I already know about it and we mock it.  HARDCORE.

Replies From View

That's too bad.  Any other foley you might need someone to be in the room for?

Cerys

Yeah that's good.  I can do audience applause by rolling dry rice around in an unglazed clay dish.

"It puts on the chainmail. It does this whenever it's told."

"It puts on the chainmail, or else it gets the hose again."

"Just put the fucking chainmail on!"

Poor SNG.
