A recent R. Crumb Interview:

Besides being just a great interview, it's just nice to see him appearing relatively well these days. It gives me hope about myself.
He's got a lovely voice too.

I thoroughly enjoyed the video about a guy crossing Wales in a straight line that was mentioned here back in September/October.

For anyone interested he's got a new video out about a mission across central Europe

watched the first 2 of Mission Across Europe With My Stepbrother. first episode is not super...but it picks up a lot in the second one and there's actually some really lovely stuff. not just hopping trains and hitchhiking. more interactions too, which is a good way to go.

I copped that walk across Wales because of this thread just a couple days ago myself. It's fucking ace. The bits where he's clearly having a shit time are nerve wracking, and plus on top of all that he's a very down to earth and unpretentious youtuber which is great. He has a natural and enjoyable style of narration and it's refreshing to be reminded that viral online content can still be measured and wholesome and not flashy speed-edit stuff. I really enjoyed the whole thing.

I agree with everything the previous caller etc

Lovely to see him back. Only two episodes so far and I was just getting into the swing! Just as well he's white though with all this asking for free stuff. Seen what happens when black people try it on The Amazing Race and shit doesn't end with free umbrellas and Wake-boarding

Thanks to the algorithm throwing them my way, I've watched hours of car restoration stuff (I'm not remotely interested in cars) and hours of a guy buying rolls of coins from banks and then going through them trying to find rare ones. I would have a 24-hour stream of different Youtubers sorting through piles of coins, it's very relaxing.

I think RobFindsTreasure is my favourite (plus, he looks like an angry bodybuilder, but he's just a massive coin nerd).

The guy giving Al Pacino a run for his money at 0:32 was one thing but like one of the comments says the guy voicing shaq doing a perfectly decent read only to be met with such  bored monotonal garbage is fantastic.

Hilarity from Paris Hilton here.

Its weird that Paris Hilton can make me feel nostalgic but she does for some reason. I suppose its because she was the original 'spoiled whore' personality who was all over the place.

I think she is one of the few women who has actually benefited from getting lots of surgery done, unless she'a just cleaned herself up. She looks like a good looking porn star.

Anyway, move over Kay's Cooking!

On the mission across Wales guy, I've been watching the 3 parter he's done about travelling across Europe and I started getting slightly suspicious of all the good luck they both have. Not saying it's all planned and that that would really ruin it if it was, just been watching it thinking "there is no way this would go this smoothly surely"

There is this bald guy (think his tube name is bald something) who is the same, seems to do crazy things like take the night train to Siberia and hang out with some Chechnyan peasants drinking wine and he never gets stabbed or owt.

bald and bankrupt has definitely had some shit luck in non-Russian places like Bolivia and India

feel like Mission Across Europe is legit so far. he 'fessed up to fucking up in Wales after 10 minutes and right at the end, don't see why he'd lie now. he's had a bit of help with the kayaks and while the mate living in rural Italy was unlikely, I believe it.

A lot of it now has to be the ‘I’m on YouTube’ factor.

Not sure i like the laddish boozing on the latest ep, a bit embarrassing

I haven't enjoyed this series as much. Seemed to take a bit of a dull turn as soon as regular alcohol was involved, earlier than this episode for me.

I don't think it's been as good as the straight line mission. But there have been moments - scootering down a mountain, kayaking on a silent lake, the Slovenian guy who helped them out in ep. 4 - that have made me weirdly melancholy about Brexit in a way none of the actual political discourse has.

his real life Geoguessr is good and there's more straight line stuff to come.

I enjoyed that, feels like a lot of effort for a small reward (~10 mins of content) on his behalf, I wonder how sustainable it is?

I was genuinely laughing out loud at points in the last episode of the 36hr scam call on Kitboga's channel, such a long build up of the relationship and a great improvisational turn at just the right moment.

This is that guy who snorted protein shake powder, right? Last time I saw a video of his (years ago) he was expounding his weird social darwinist views on dating and eugenicist views on having children. Seemed like the personification of /fit/ basically.

The public pranks or mindfucking has stopped mainly because I think he realised to travel around the world for his muses he should have a clean record. The philosophy has added Buddhist philosophy and meditation. The cinematography has improved.

Fell down a new YouTube rabbit hole which is more entertaining than it might sound: polyglot Americans surprising people by talking to them in their native languages.

There's a white guy who apparently speaks incredible Mandarin that has a bunch of videos walking around NYC Chinatown (Xiaomanyc), but the reigning king is this guy:
