I don't think they or Columbia bothered to deal with that twitter/Fun radio stuff because it's not their style to get involved at that level. They don't do social media. I'd expect there to be some repercussions for that station but more indirectly. Still genuinely surprised that quite a large station would pull such an amateur hour move. It's one thing for some guy to try to get people to listen to his ripoff tracks on YT but another for a commercial organisation to risk such negative publicity - and there has been plenty today.

As much as i'm looking forward to this album, after Alive 2007 i'm probably just as excited for a potential live record that may follow.  The fucking difference between the Human After All material on the album and the Alive 2007 is astounding. They're not doing owt this year though, are they? Fucking utter bastards. I love them so much.

In the Rolling Stone interview they said they wouldn't be touring this album specifically, prob due to the collabs and stuff and the lack of electronics but when they do put together a live show, it won't just be this album, it'll be a complete retrospective overview (which I suppose is similar to Alive 2007).

4 collaborator vids down in just under two weeks (I think, and picking up pace), Gonzales, Julian Casablancas, Panda Bear & Paul Williams left. That'll take us to end of April and then only three weeks til the album. I'd have thought that's a tiny bit too close for a single so something surely has to come out within the next week or so.

Why do I keep doing that to myself?

I have an interview tomorrow morning, hopefully I'll blaze/blow that and the single will be released to lift me higher/off the ground.

Some guy on the French Touch forum has a mate who works for RTL France, massive European media production company. That mate received it from an industry mailing list, apparently, and passed it on. It looks shit, so shit it could be real. I guess you don't promote in the same way to industry people, I dunno.

For those who didn't watch the pharrell vid btw, the last thirty seconds or so gives you a little more of the track, sounds like the ending, several layers, pretty euphoric finale type thing.
