I know he's an easy target but the chorus is so lazy and annoying. And it was everywhere played ironically.

This guy fits into the category of 'so bad it's hilarious'. I couldn't work out if he was serious for a while, but thankfully it seems he is.

The great R.A.E.D.

GIRL I NO U WANT ME BACK

NO MORE TEARS TO CRY

Wow, what a guy, I'll pop if I watch all of them in one night.

onthebeach

R.A.E.D is working on a different rhythmic plane to the rest of us.

I do like the GIRL I NO U WANT ME BACK video where he sings to a chainlink fence.

I discovered this gem recently whilst clicking through some Eurovision vids on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uNfhj66GOo

Video aside, that's actually fairly fuckin brilliant.

Here's one. "Say the password!!!!"

(Again, though, it's more the performance. Song kind of rocks. Not in the same league as that Spread Ur Legs stuff, though, which I think is genuinely brilliant.)

Fergie,

London Bridge, awful sexless humorless, talentless tramp.

Black Eyed Peas

I Got A Feeling

Easy target, but just soul destroying empty, especially a few years ago when it was unavoidable.

My humps, you are a cunt if you like this.

And to conclude, the lass who listened to Fergie and thought " I can make worst music than that" Nicki Minaj

Ah man, as irritating as that song is (and I've got to say, for a throwaway listen I quite enjoyed its obnoxious relentlessness) she's got mad fucking flow.
and 'Listen, Pebbles, go back to your habitat' is a great line.

Edit: This is my current bete noire. There's nothing I hate more than interpolations of old music-hall songs or whatever crowbarred into modern hip-hop - and this is a pretty egregious example. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWRT0xhN5pw

Black Lace - We Dance (Live on 3-2-1)

The UK's favourite party group adopt World Music after being early advocates of Peter Gabriel's WOMAD. Their agenda was to enthral and shock mainstream listening habits by unleashing this music on the unassuming masses on prime-time TV. The music was a complex fusion of Greek Dhimotiká and English party music, long ingrained into the British folkloric traditions. Startling results.

However, a year later Dusty Bin's collaboration with the Afro-Celt Soundsystem subsequently ruined any progress Black Lace had ever made.

Utter Shit

Nicki Minaj is a decent rapper who makes a lot of unfathomably shit pop R&B. I actually quite like her, she seems a bit bonkers. Also she looks computer-generated.

close thread.

"The living legend that is Chris Morris, famous for Brass Eye, The Day Today, Jam and so on made this piece of trash on purpose to prove that any old crap could get in to the charts. The girls were all in on it, thay were chosen because of their inabillity to hold a tune."

That's a silly rumour that the user in question seems to be quoting as fact.

onthebeach

'close thread', he says. Like he's found the winner.

Then I listened to it. Close thread.

Goldentony

Nicki Minaj is great, anyone on the other side of this thought is a baldhead babylon shitter

Wow that 'maybe it's because I'm a Londoner' one really is annoying.

I can't get that Nickleback song out of my head. The rhyming scheme is so fucking terrible. But it is that opening line and the way he smiles and looks at the back of the picture frame that gets me.

"How did our eyes get so red? And what the hell is on Joey's head?"

Unreal.

More Than Words by Extreme.

Fucking dreadful.

Big Jack McBastard

I can't remember who said it (sure it was someone on here) but if you replace 'More than words' with 'A blow-job' that song is much more accurate and slightly more tolerable.

Danger Man

This might be 'so bad it's good'.

The Danish group Shu-bi-dua with their showstopper 'There is a dogshit in my garden'

QuoteThere is a dogshit in my garden
and when I cut my grass
the dogshit is no longer in my garden
it is a-sittin on my footsole
