2013 has been the year of the Hansel and Gretel film – there was that one with Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton which I still haven't seen, one made by Asylum Entertainment to cash in on that one, another one which doesn't have a Wikipedia page, and "Hansel and Gretel Get Baked", a pot-themed "comedy" / horror with a load of former TV supporting characters in it (the daughter from "Castle", one of the boyfriends from "Charmed", etc.)

It's one of those stories which doesn't really work in a 21st century setting (no-one seems terribly troubled by the loads of missing teenagers) but has been weirdly popular this year. Anyone seen more than two of them? Any other cases of lots of films about the same thing getting released at the same time that you remember?
