Prompted by Radio 4s season of adaptations and documentary, I thought I'd start this appallingly titled thread.

It's good stuff, isn't it? I was lucky enough to see Alan Sillitoe do a reading a few years ago and even though he was a bit boring and kept talking about sitting under an orange tree in Spain or somewhere, it was a lovely experience to see a man who wrote two of the great British novels of the 60s. Saturday Night & Sunday Morning's on in just under an hour, although I'm not sure about getting some twat from Skins to play Arthur Seaton.
