Anyone a fan? The books, not the TV series which I've only seen a little bit of.

Actually just started this thread to say I watched Robocop last night and realised that Dresden's police friend Karrin is an obvious homage to Lewis in that - both short cute looking police officers with short blond hair and good at martial arts. The fact her surname is Murphy pretty much clinches it.

Despite how explicit a homage it is, I haven't found anyone else on the internet has made the connection.

Well, I've never read the books, but I did see the short lived series which I thought was reasonably good. Surprised it got axed so quickly.
